Say goodbye to the old year over the coming days in a delightful atmosphere and ring in the new one with a classic red wine punch or mulled wine, and a ‘Schinderhannes’ dinner in the 250-year-old farmer’s restaurant. Idar-Oberstein’s original spit roast cooked on an open beech wood grill and a mystery New Year’s Eve menu offer an entertaining and exciting way of discovering what our kitchen has created for you.

Explore the local surroundings of Kempfeld and Idar-Oberstein.
In the evening, we will prepare a tasty ‘Schinderhannes’ buffet in the 250-year-old farmer’s restaurant.

Our kitchen will create a highly unique 6-course New Year’s Eve mystery meal based on the theme: “Let your taste buds and ideas run freely”

The person with the closest guess will be awarded an excellent prize!

We ring in the New Year at midnight with a glass of champagne and admire the brilliant fireworks.
